THE ORGANISATION
Our client is a leading independent provider of trust and fiduciary services, supporting high-net-worth individuals, corporations and intermediaries, operating in more than 30 jurisdictions globally.
THE ROLE
• This is a new position and will be based in London as part of the business generation team.
• You will be primarily responsible for developing business predominantly for the global Private Client business and as such experience &/or an understanding of estate planning and tax planning would be advantageous.
• This role offers a supportive and commercial environment with the opportunity for regular travel and collaboration with overseas business generation teams.
ABOUT YOU
The ideal applicant will ideally:
• Be a qualified lawyer with at least five years high calibre private client experience. More junior applicants with good experience and commercial focus will also be considered.
• Have sound technical skills in relation to company and trust law and commercial matters with a focus on structuring of offshore vehicles
• Have strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work unsupervised and use initiative.
• Have a strong referrer network and experience in Business Development.
This is a rare opportunity for a commercial lawyer to step away from a pure fee earning role and to use their expertise and network in a more commercial environment.
