This role will be responsible for full lifecycle sales process, generating sales leads, following up through phone and email, booking appointments for yourself and our sales representatives, demonstrating our services and closing the final sale.
We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, a strong work ethic, and an ability to think creatively, while generating measurable results in a fast paced environment. You will be comfortable making cold calls, happy to go looking for opportunities, networking, meeting people, presenting and demonstrating to potential clients of executive level.

Create, generate and qualify entirely new business with the ability to break open new prospects and accounts.
Search out new leads through cold calling, building relationships and attending networking events within the City of London.
Identify and understand a customer’s business context and articulate how Global Relay’s solution can address those needs.
Work in close collaboration with the Marketing and Sales teams based in London and around the world.
Provide account intelligence and participate in developing account strategies.
Update CRM system with conversations, competitive information, company size, decision making criteria and other pertinent information.
Achieve and exceed sales qualified lead target numbers.
Occasional early morning / evening networking event attendance.
Possible, infrequent travel to European clients.
Business degree or proven work experience in the financial industry, an asset.
2+ years of lead generation or sales experience in a B2B environment, preferably financial sector cloud or SaaS based solutions.
Able to respond confidently to questions or objections from users through to CTO/CEO level prospects
Proficiency in phone sales and building a rapport with clients.
Experience developing business relationships with all sizes of client and growing those relationships throughout other departments within that client.
Smart, confident, driven, self-starter with strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
Proven ability to research and prospect using email, telephone, and online social media sites such as Linkedin, etc.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
